An Authors Gift

The author's gift is for free religious education for those who have moved to Australia at the age of four. He sympathized with them, but it was without a visa.

A lack of English language skills led to communication problems until a trick was used at the airport.

After ups and downs, they found their visa recipients. They headed to the theological college.

When they finished their studies, there was a period of red terror in Ethiopia.

They chose to stay in Australia rather than return home.

Time passed by time. Ethiopian regimes have changed.

Once, while they were attending a meeting, the symbolic speech of a speaker from the platform about “doing one’s part” made a mark in their hearts and minds.

“And how can I contribute to my country?” they asked themselves.

Travel home.

Their lives coincided with a new chapter in the life of the prison charity.

When they returned home to Australia, they explained to their husbands the problems they saw and their desire to help.

They need family support. Their closest friends were also added.

An Australian philanthropic church helped them with work permits. Elohe began his prison ministry.

They are still contributing their prison services from Australia to Ethiopia.

“We have a responsibility to help those in need,” they say.

His English book “From Maychew To Australia” is also prepared for graduation.
